Carbon cleaning your engine is the process of removing carbon deposits from built-up areas within your engine. These areas include but are not limited to:

• Intake valves
• Manifold
• Cylinder heads
• Exhaust systems

With our specialised carbon cleaning equipment the process of cleaning should only take around 30-45 minutes.

Carbon build-up is a natural process in the lifetime of an engine, and where as there is some confusion as to how it is caused.

Some of the common causes for carbon build-up are:

• Low quality fuel
  Lower quality fuels can suffer from incomplete combustion, which will cause the build-up causing drivability issues.
• Excess Stop/Start Travel
  In cities or peak time travel, traffic can cause a lot of stop/start travel. This will increak the load on the engine resulting in carbon build-up. In cogested cities this also means you will not be able to get up to speed to effectively regenerate your DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) leading to carbon accumulation within that part of the vehicle.
• Irregular or lack of servicing/maintenance
  When you do not reguarly service or maintain your vehicle, underlying issues which can cause the increase of carbon deposits. Routine checks and cleaning will minimise build-up and ensure your engine is running smooth.

It is a common misconception that using HHO (Oxyhydrogen) technology can cause issues for your engine. Compared with past methods of cleaning carbon build-up it required the engine to be dismantled and carbon be manually scraped off.
